Timu ya Taifa ya Tanzania “Taifa Stars”Stars itaondoka kesho Alkhamis Septemba 6, saa 7 mchana kuelekea nchini Uganda, tayari kwa  mchezo wa kuwania kufuzu fainali za Afrika 2019 dhidi ya Uganda.
Stars inayonolewa na kocha kutoka nchini Nigeria Emmanuel Amunike, itaelekea jijini Kampala na wachezaji 23 sambamba na viongozi 7, watakaoambatana na viongozi mbalimbali wa shirikisho la soka nchini TFF.
Kocha Amunike leo mchana alikutana na waandishi wa habari na kueleza kuwa: “Ni mchezo tunaokwenda kwa nia ya kufanya vizuri na kujiweka kwenye mazingira mazuri ya kundi letu.”
“Kufanya vizuri kwa timu hii ni fahari ya kila Mtanzania tuendelee kuiunga mkono timu hii inayokwenda kupeperusha bendera ya Tanzania.”
Hata hivyo Kocha Amunike ameongeza kuwa,  anaendelea na maandalizi kwa kuangalia mapungufu mbalimbali na kuyafanyia kazi, ambapo anaamini kikosi alichonacho kwa sasa kitaweza kufanya vizuri dhidi ya Uganda.
Kikosi kitakachokwenda Uganda kesho mchana ni Aishi Manula (Simba), Salum Kimenya(Tz Prisons), Frank Domayo(Azam FC), Salum Kihimbwa(Mtibwa), Kelvin Sabato(Mtibwa), David Mwantika(Azam FC), Ally Abdulkarim(Lipuli), Mohamed Abdulrahiman (JKT Tanzania), Beno Kakolanya (Young Africans), Hassan Kessy (Nkana,Zambia), Gadiel Michael (Young Africans), Abdi Banda (Baroka,Afrika Kusini), Aggrey Morris (Azam FC), Andrew Vicent (Young Africans ), Himid Mao (Petrojet,Misri), Mudathir Yahya (Azam FC), Simon Msuva (Al Jadida,Morocco), Rashid Mandawa (BDF,Botswana), Farid Mussa (Tenerife,Hispania), Mbwana Samatta (KRC Genk,Belgium), Thomas Ulimwengu (Al Hilal,Sudan), Shabani Chilunda (Tenerife,Hispania) na Yahya zaydi (Azam FC).
Kocha Mkuu Emmanuel Amunike na wasaidizi wake Hemed Morocco na Emeka Amadi, Mtunza Vifaa Ally Ruvu na madaktari wawili Richard Yomba na Gilbert Kigadya.
